Visions of the unexpected...

 

... are created on the one hand by techniques and concepts that use color and form, light and shadow play to create a style that should ultimately find itself again and again through constant changes. It often remains uncertain for the viewer whether three-dimensional effects and elaborate techniques are planned or result from the creative process.  I try to control the unexpected, rather I enter into an alliance with chance that I only want to master.

Ultimately, overstretching and alienating, reducing and destroying create a symbiosis of realism and abstraction. It creates a utopia of the real in which we lose ourselves...
